MAVIS Artificial Heart - Ingredients for a Groundbreaking Medical Innovation

Dr. Alexandru Pleșoianu and his team are living proof that dedication and determination go a long way. Dr. Pleșoianu is credited with creating the first resistant and functional artificial heart, with the size of a child’s fist and a durability of over 10 years. Having won “The Most Advanced Design” prize at The International Society for Mechanical Circulatory Support, Dallas Texas, Dr. Pleșoianu is actively shaping the future of cardiovascular surgery.

This conference will guide you through the process of medical innovation. Dr. Pleșoianu and his team have created a very capable artificial organ in a few years; a feat that was deemed impossible by large and well financed companies.
